A seminar and open forum on the importance of the performing arts in rural areas, with special emphasis on Iveragh. The session will be chaired by Theo Dorgan. Mr. Dorgan was Director of Poetry Ireland, co-director of Cork Film Festival, and has served on the boards of a large number of arts organisations, including Triskel Arts Centre, Project Arts Centre, The African Cultural Project etc. He is a member of Aosdána, and serves on its management committee, the Toscaireacht. |
